ਸ਼ਖਸੀਅਤ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ  (Character Traits)

Ignorant - Keeps wandering in search of fragrance (ਖੁਸ਼ਬੂ) in the jungle. Doesn’t value the musk powder (ਕਸਤੂਰੀ) that resides within him.

ਘਰ ਹੀ ਮਹਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਭਰਪੂਰੁ ਹੈ ਮਨਮੁਖਾ ਸਾਦੁ ਨ ਪਾਇਆ ॥ ਜਿਉ ਕਸਤੂਰੀ ਮਿਰਗੁ ਨ ਜਾਣੈ ਭ੍ਰਮਦਾ ਭਰਮਿ ਭੁਲਾਇਆ ॥ [ਮਹਲਾ 3, ਰਾਗ ਸੋਰਠਿ - ਅੰ :644]

The source of all wisdom that leads to mental peace resides within me but following the bad voice, I am unable experience this wisdom. Like doubt makes deer wonder outside to find the source of fragrance, similarly my mind keeps wondering in materialistic world to search for  happiness and contentment.

ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ (Relevance in my life)

ਦੁਨਿਆਵੀ ਵਸਤੂਆਂ ਅਸਥਾਈ ਸੁੱਖ ਹੀ ਦੇ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਸਦੀਵੀ ਸੁਖ ਦਾ ਸੋਮਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੀ ਹੈ।

Materialistic possessions can only give temporary happiness. The source of bliss is inside me.
