ਸ਼ਖਸੀਅਤ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ  (Character Traits)

Greed (ਲੋਭ, ਲਾਲਚ) which doesn’t let see and appreciate, what one already has.

[Idiom: ਬਹੁਤਾ ਖਾਂਦੀ, ਥੋੜੇਓਂ ਵੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ] 

Eats trash (ego, anger) that may give temporary pleasure but creates problem in long run  [Idiom: ਜੋ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੀ ਖਾਣਾ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਖਾਈ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ]

ਅੰਤਰਿ ਲੋਭੁ ਭਉਕੈ ਜਿਸੁ ਕੁਤਾ ॥ ਜਮਕਾਲੁ ਤਿਸੁ ਕਦੇ ਨ ਛੋਡੈ ਅੰਤਿ ਗਇਆ ਪਛੁਤਾਈ ਹੇ ॥੮॥ (੧੦੪੫)

The ones who have Greedy Dog (bad voice) barking inside all the time are never satisfied. Thoughts of more and more never leave such people and in the end, they repent for wasting their precious life in greed. 

ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ (Relevance in my life)

ਜਦੋਂ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਲਾਲਚੀ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਚੀਜ਼ ਦੀ ਕਦਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਜੋ ਇਸ ਕੋਲ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਹੈ।

When my mind is greedy, it can never appreciate what it already has.
