Symbol of strength (ਬਲ), ਬਲ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ; helps to do intensive tasks (ਜ਼ੋਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਕੰਮ)
Like farmer needs two OX to harvest the farm (ਖੇਤ ਜੋਤਣ ਲਈ); Gurbani refers to two OX within us – Good Voice (ਚਿੱਤ) and Bad Voice (ਮਨ) within me.
ਪਾਪੁ ਪੁੰਨੁ ਦੁਇ ਬੈਲ ਬਿਸਾਹੇ ਪਵਨੁ ਪੂਜੀ ਪਰਗਾਸਿਓ ॥ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਗੂਣਿ ਭਰੀ ਘਟ ਭੀਤਰਿ ਇਨ ਬਿਧਿ ਟਾਂਡ ਬਿਸਾਹਿਓ ॥ [ਗਉੜੀ - ਕਬੀਰ ਜੀ - ਅੰ: 333]
Bad Voice (ਪਾਪੁ)– the one that guides against Gurbani; and Good Voice (ਪੁੰਨੁ) - the one that guides as per Gurbani; are the Ox in form of thoughts driving my life. Deep inside, I am loaded with greed (bad ox) and in this manner I have forgotten the load of good voice (follow good ox) (Gauri Kabeer Jee - 333)
ਮੈਨੂੰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਚੰਗੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ - ਸਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਬਲੱਦ (ਚਿੱਤ) ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਦਰਾਂ-ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਜਿਉਣ ਦੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
I should always live in guidance of Good Voice – the positive OX, which gives me strength to live as per the values of Gurbani.

ਨਾਕਾਰਤਮਕ ਬੁਧਿ ਜੋ ਜੀਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਾੜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ – Negative Mindset
