O Kabir, the tree of sandalwood is surrounded by wild trees but it’s so good that it doesn’t stop giving the fragrance and even normal wood around sandalwood start to smell nice. This is how we should live the life – whoever comes close to our life should get the fragrance of Gurbani from our life as opposed to us taking bad habits from them.
ਮੈਨੂੰ ਚੰਦਨ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਵਰਗਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਜੀਊਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਆਲੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪੌਦਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ਬੂ ਅਤੇ ਠੰਢਕ ਦੇਂਦੀ ਹੈ I
